San Antonio Spurs Injury Update for Upcoming Game
San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle will miss Tuesday's home game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a left hip flexor strain, as confirmed by the team's announcement following an MRI. Castle sustained the injury during the first half of Sunday?s match against the Sacramento Kings, leading him to exit the game early. He is set for re-evaluation in one to two weeks.
In addition to Castle, Victor Wembanyama, Dylan Harper, and Jordan McLaughlin are also sidelined due to injuries. McLaughlin's MRI revealed a left hamstring strain. Wembanyama, who missed his first game of the season, is expected to be out for several weeks due to a left calf strain. Harper has already been ruled out for multiple weeks for a similar calf injury.
As the Spurs aim for their 10th win of the season, De?Aaron Fox will lead the team, supported by Harrison Barnes and Devin Vassell. The Memphis Grizzlies will also be without star player Ja Morant, who is out for two weeks due to injury.
